Four years in America

 

With all this thing about my moving to New York I almost forget about drawing my annual Pin-up to celebrate another year more in America.
Yep...It has been four years since I moved from Granada, my small hometown, to L.A to work in the American animation industry.
I like living in New york a lot, so I guess I'll have to draw another Pin up next year too.

 Con todo este tema de mi mudanza a Neva york casi se me olvida dibujar mi Pin-up anual para celebrar un añito mas en USA.
Sip....ya hace cuatro años desde que comenze mi aventura hacia Los Angeles para trabajar en la industria de animacion americana;...y aqui sigo.
Estoy la mar de agustico en Nueva York, asi que fijo que me tocara dibujar otro pin up el año que viene.

Three years in America

 Three years have passed since I moved to USA to work at DreamWorks animation; and as I normally do in these occasions here is my annual pin up to celebrate it.
To be honest I feel really good here, everything goes nice and I'm still learning every day...; so its very probably that next year I'll draw the fourth pin up.

Tres añicos llevo ya aqui en USA currando en Dreamworks; y como viene siendo regla, aqui dejo mi pin up anual para celebarlo.
La verdad es que estoy guay aqui; todo me va bien y no dejo de aprender...asi que lo mas seguro que el año que viene tocara una cuarta pin up.
Ahora, que a todos aquellos que me dijeron: "...tranquilo Javi, el ingles en un año lo tienes dominado.."; me cago en vuestros muertos.
 Hay que ver mundo gente.

Two years in America.....

Joder, como pasa el tiempo.... hace ya dos anos que me vine a California a trabajar como Story artist en Dreamworks. Miro hacia atras y la verdad es que aunque ha sido duro al principio, ahora estoy la mar de agusto adaptado ya practicamente a este nuevo mundo y a sus costumbres. Aunque aun me sigue sin gustar cosas como la crema de cacahuete o el beisbol...pero bueno, tampoco me molaba la sobrasada o el futbol alli donde el Rajoy.

Time goes so fast.... I came two years ago to America to work as story artist at Dreamworks, and now I look back and even if it was hard at the beginning, now I'm almost adapted to this new world and its culture; even if I still don't like the peanut butter or the baseball....

My first year in America !!

Bueno, parece mentira que ya lleve un año en Los Angeles. Aqui sigo aprendiendo de la ostia de los mejores en Dreamworks, y de paso aportando en lo posible mi granito de arena al proyecto que tenemos entre manos. Se echan de menos las tapas y la forma de vida que deje alli en España; pero que carajo, mola ver mundo. Aqui dejo este simpatico dibujillo con motivo de mi aniversario gringo.


Finally I have survived my first year in L.A; learning a lot from the best profesionals of the industry at Dreamworks animation, and trying to contribute how I can in the proyect we are working on. Its very cool, but I have to admit that sometimes I miss the spanish tapas and the european style of life...
