"Justin and the Knights of Valour"

"Justin and the Knights of Valour", the very high quality Spanish production I worked on for a few months before I moved to USA is already at the theaters (in Europe for now). Go and watch it!!
I'm really proud of my ex co-workers, they really have done a great job. Looks beautiful!

"Justin y la Espada del Valor" ya esta en los cines de varios paises. Tuve la suerte de trabajar durante unos meses en esta produccion  antes de venirme a vivir a L.A. 
Estoy flipando con la calidad visual que han conseguido mis excompaneros de Kandor Graphics, con muchisimo esfuerzo y talento.
Asi que ya sabeis, al cine a verla echando ostias!!

Fast drawing...playing a little with more extreme perspectives and shapes. Good exercise
..beside, I always wanted to draw an stripclub.

Three years in America

 Three years have passed since I moved to USA to work at DreamWorks animation; and as I normally do in these occasions here is my annual pin up to celebrate it.
To be honest I feel really good here, everything goes nice and I'm still learning every day...; so its very probably that next year I'll draw the fourth pin up.

Tres añicos llevo ya aqui en USA currando en Dreamworks; y como viene siendo regla, aqui dejo mi pin up anual para celebarlo.
La verdad es que estoy guay aqui; todo me va bien y no dejo de aprender...asi que lo mas seguro que el año que viene tocara una cuarta pin up.
Ahora, que a todos aquellos que me dijeron: "...tranquilo Javi, el ingles en un año lo tienes dominado.."; me cago en vuestros muertos.
 Hay que ver mundo gente.

Sexy lips girl

 

 Its been a while since I draw an elegant lady. The drawing is based on a girl I meet the other day;..a girl  with very sensual lips.

Hacia ya que no me dibujaba una muchacha elegantilla. El dibujo esta basado en una chica que conoci el otro dia, y que tenia unos labios muuuy sensuales.

Draw is cool

Dibujar mola; imaginarse cualquier cosa y poder plasmarla en un papel es lo mas parecido a ser un mago;...y si sabes animarlo ya eres un dios. Lo guapo de ser dibujante es que todos hemos nacido siendolo;  ¿quien no tiene dibujos guardados de cuando tenias 3 o 4 anos?, hasta el hijo puta mas gordo ha hecho sus dibujos de pequeñillo. Pero por algun motivo la genete al llegar a una edad lo deja;....pobrecicos, lo que se han perdido. A mi me regañaban por dibujar en la mesa en el colegio, y ahora me va muy bien dedicandome a ello...que ironia.

Draw is cool; the ability of imagine anything and be able to put it on a piece of paper is the closer thing to be a magician; and if you are able to animate it, is almost like to be a God. The coolest thing of draw is that everyone have born with that ability; who doesn't have drawings you did when  you were 3 or 4 years old?; even the biggest motherfucker in this planet has draw when he was a little kid. But, for some reason people stop doing it when they grow up....poor people, they don't know what are they missing. I used to get scolded when I draw on the table at school; and know I can pay my bills doing it...what an irony.

A section of a sequence from a silly idea I wrote the other day for the Story lecture I'm gonna be giving on the Canary Islands next week.

 I'm having so much fun doing it.

Fragmento de escena basada en una estupidez que escribi el otro dia. Es parte del material que voy a usar en el Master class que dare la semana que viene en el festival de Animayo para ensenar el proceso de creacion de una escena.

Me lo estoy pasando pipa dibujando lo que me sale de los huevos.
